Christmas is over...

Christmas is over and now I am in this semi-funk thing. Christmas 2008 was one of the best ever I think. Allison, Matthew and Seth; Amy and Jeremiah; Ryan and his cousin Cole; Stephen, Dan and I were all here at our house for Christmas afternoon. A good time was had by all. Dinner was homemade chicken noodle soup and croissants. I think everyone had a hand in the kitchen at some point. Turns out that making 3 batches of homemade noodles takes approxamatly five people to make! Great fun! Besides Dan having pneumonia everything went great and Dan hung in there like a champ. Henry was pretty much stuck outside due to the fact that a 50 pound 6 month old lab puppy combined with all of the people and all of the stuff to chew up proved to be a little to much for him to process all at one time. It created a very hyper dog. Amy tried to stick reigndeer antlers on Samantha.. psht! That worked.. NOT! I keep looking back to that day and to the Saturday before when Dan and I spent the day in Tulsa together and smile inside. I got to talk to Keri a couple of times and that ment so much to me and I find myself missing all of my sisters these days.
